Your first visit

At an Initial Orthodontist Consultation, photos of your teeth and jaws will be taken to help assess your needs and goals. One of our Specialist Orthodontists will then complete a thorough examination of your unique smile to determine the best treatment plan for you.  If x-rays are required, they can be taken in our rooms for maximum convenience. Your Specialist Orthodontist will then design a bespoke treatment plan for you, and provide you with an individualised quote and payment options.

At a free Invisalign® assessment, our Treatment Coordinator will provide you with information about Invisalign® treatment, as well as the associated costs and payment options. They will be able to determine if you could benefit from Invisalign® clear aligners and answer any questions you might have.

Should you wish to commence treatment immediately, our staff will take a digital impression of your teeth to start the treatment process. Otherwise, you are welcome to proceed with treatment at a later date. You are under no obligation to start treatment with us should you decide orthodontic treatment is not for you.

*This product is not available for purchase by the general public. Always follow the directions for use.

Initial Consultation Fees

An Initial Orthodontist Consultation is $178 for children and $207 for adults. This fee includes photos of your teeth and jaws, time with one of our Doctors, a bespoke treatment plan, individualised quote and payment options, and time for detailed discussion with our treatment co-ordinator.

A free Invisalign® assessment with a Treatment Coordinator is free, and also includes an individualised quote and payment options.

If X-rays are required as part of an initial orthodontist assessment or free Invisalign® assessment, any associated fees will be discussed with you before any images are taken.

Meeting the team

If you choose to proceed with an Initial Orthodontist Consultation, you will meet with Dr. Ashley Smith, Dr. Christopher Turnock or Dr. Emily Close. If you would prefer to see a specific orthodontist, you can let us know when you fill out your booking form.

If you opt for the free Invisalign® assessment, you will meet with our Treatment Coordinator who will be there to help you every step of the way through Invisalign® treatment. You may also get some time to discuss your treatment plan with one of our Specialist Orthodontists.

You don’t need a referral to go to a dentist or an orthodontist, but sometimes your dentist may give you a referral if they think you need specialist orthodontic care. Likewise, a Specialist Orthodontist may refer you to a dentist if you need general dental work such as a filling or tooth extraction.
